The Specialist Medical Centre was to be a landmark medical centre that would lure specialists in their fields to the Coffs Harbour area and provide first class medical services to the region. The project commenced in May 2011 with some 82 concrete piles sunk into the ground to support the huge structure. The centre is comprised of a basement carpark and 3 levels of commercial tenancies over 8500m2 of floor area. Completion of the project was then followed on with several tenancy fit outs for specialists occupying the building.

Over 50 local sub-contractors were engaged to complete the project in an 18 month period at a value of approximately $14 million dollars.
