Stage 1 involved the construction of 740 concrete hanbars of 16, 22, and 28 tonne. The tender was awarded to FM Glenn Constructions on the 30th April 2012 with casting of Hanbars commencing on the 3rd May, 2012 and completed by 23rd July 2012.

Stage 2 of the Eastern Breakwall Remediation works was the construction of an additional 1700 concrete hanbars and placement of the stage 1 and 2 hanbars. The JDS Group won the tender for Stage 2 works and engaged FM Glenn Constructions to construct the additional hanbars. The project was delivered to the client ahead of time and within budget.
