The 2021 MBA Regional Excellence in Building Awards was held at Tweed Heads on Friday, 27 May, 2022. These awards showcase local craftsmanship excellence and contribute to a vibrant regional building industry.
FM Glenn Constructions were extremely proud to have two of their major projects recognised, taking home three awards on the night. The National Cartoon Gallery completed in January, 2021 received winning awards in two categories, “Extensions, Renovations and Reburbishments Over $2 Million” and “Best Use of Steel” and The Adele Training Centre completed in July, 2020 received the winning award for “Commercial Projects $10 Million – $12 Million”.
The two Site Foreman responsible for these projects, Lyle Gately and Ian Smidt were both thrilled to be apart of the celebrations and collect the awards on behalf of the company. Both are pictured with one of the Company Directors, Craig Spencer, accepting the award for “Best Use of Steel”.
